EXERCISE CRAB APPLE – KENYA 2007
29th November 2007
Capt Treffry-Kingdom contacted Cristina from Redyset to ask if Redyset would donate two goals to take with them on Exercise Crab Apple. Based at Rock Barracks, Suffolk the 23 Engineer Regiment (Air Assault) were off to improve the St Stephens Orphanage in Timau, Kenya. Of course, Redyset were delighted to help.
Said Capt Treffry-Kingdom “The exercise for us was a great success and we were able to complete our designated construction project and thus provide the orphanage with a new kitchen and dining facility. The kind donations from our sponsors allowed us to provide the orphanage with much needed sports equipment”
“This only goes to show the versatility of the IGOAL – it is suitable for any climate with a multitude of different options for how it can be used!” says Peter Rose from Redyset
